ECCO XXVII will take place on Tuesday 10th of June (from 1 pm) and Wednesday 11th of June (full day) 2008, in Ghent, Belgium.
Language
English will be the official language of the meeting.
Call for presentations
Scientists working in the field of culture collections and related biological, medical and biotechnological areas are invited to contribute to the session topics outlined in the preliminary program.
Acceptance of oral presentations will be based on decisions of the ECCO Board. For oral presentations extended abstracts of 2 pages (~2.000 words) should be submitted. Please follow the instructions given below.
Duration of presentation: approximately 20 min
Meeting participants are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations. Abstracts should not exceed a length of ~500 words. Please follow the instructions given below.
Dimensions of the poster panels: 1 m width and 2 m height.
Posters can be mounted in advance of the meeting, and will be displayed throughout the two days.

Title: Maximum of 300 characters, character size 12, bold
Authors: Presenting author underlined, character size 12
Affiliation per author: Name of institute/collection, postal address, e-mail of presenting author, character size 10
Abstract text oral presentations: Maximum of 12,000 characters (~2,000 words), character size 12, justified
Abstract text posters: Maximum of 2,600 characters (incl. spaces), character size 12, justified
