  • The National Collection of Agricultural and Industrial Micro-organisms (NCAIM) maintains over 3400 strains of bacteria, yeasts (1805 strains) and filamentous fungi (297 strains) in its public collection. Since 1986 NCAIM has been approved as an International Depository Authority. NCAIM also accepts safe deposits. Currently, NCAIM is hosted by the Institute of Food Science and Technology of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
