Group(s) of biological resources stored in the collection: bacteria (1085 strains), yeasts (2015 strains).

The UMCC holds 3100 strains including yeasts, lactic acid bacteria and acetic acid bacteria isolated from different agro-foods products such as must, wines, beer, vinegar, sourdough, Kombucha tea and other fermented products.
