Members holdings

The CNCTC holds 1,403 strains representing 107 genera and 383 species of bacteria and yeasts. The culture collection includes 250 type cultures, including bacterial genera and species whose names and descriptions are linked to the Czech lands and their bacteriologists (Budvicia aquatica, Pragia fontium, Acinetobacter ursingii, Acinetobacter schindleri, Acinetobacter parvus, Corynebacterium accolens, Yersinia aldovae, Staphylococcus chromogenes, Staphylococcus intermedius). The CNCTC provides a wide range of microorganisms for quality control, bioassays, and antibiotic testing.
